Our Team

Veronica serves as Parra & Co’s Marketing Lead and Chief Illustrator. She takes care of our branding, making sure everything is cohesive, aligned with our goals, and representative of our values. Ms. Parra also assists us with preparing business proposals, Graphic Design and Wayfinding.

She is a Graphic Designer and Illustrator with over 9 years of experience. She brings experience in Wayfinding Signage, Environmental Graphics, Graphic Design, and Illustration. She has worked with small, medium, and large airports in the U.S., such as Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD), Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport (ATL), Ronald Reagan National Airport (DCA), Indianapolis International Airport (IND), and Philadelphia International Airport (PHL), among others. Ms. Parra holds a deep understanding of industry standards, such as Airport Cooperative Research Program (ACRP) Reports 52 and 177, Federal Aviation Administration Advisory Circular 150/5360-12F, Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD), Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Standards for Accessible Design, etc.

Veronica is also a published Children’s Books author/illustrator and a member of the American Institute of Graphic Arts, the professional association for Design, the Society for Experimental Graphic Designers (SEGD), and an active member of the Society of Children’s Books Writers and Illustrators (SCBWI). She is fluent in English and Spanish. She is an alumna of the Savannah College of Art and Design, having completed her Masters in Illustration (2015), and holds a bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design from Universidad Rafael Belloso Chacin (2012).
